There are currently 3 000 4H clubs in Finland, representing over 71 000 members aged between 6 and 28.

The Finnish 4H Federation consists of 3000 4H-clubs stretching from the archipelago to Lapland. Local club activities are organised by the elected body of 4H-members. Adult leaders work with the members and
counsel programmes and events.


LEADERS AND 4H ADVISORS
1 300 adult leaders

At a local level there are nearly 300 4H associations. A advisor is employed by the local 4H association and is responsible for supervising the activities and enrolling new members and voluntary leaders. The board consists of municipality members committed to the development of its youth.

14 4H Districts

Finland is divided up into 14 4H districts. At a national level, the Meeting of Representatives convenes every third year to decide on the 4H plan of action for the following three years. The Committee consists of 23 members and is elected by the Meeting of Representatives. The Committee elects the Board,
which consists of seven members.
